9.5×13.5 Vintage Distressed Kerman Carpet

:: Ornate large scale center medallion with scalloped outer contour and concentric inner diamond shaped medallion. Surrounded by scrolling wide banded vinery atop a covered field of floral bouquets. Main border bearing similarities to a Four Season Garden design with millefleur stylized detail. Colors and shades include: Gold, dark navy blue, antique ivory, pale coffee brown, silver, hint of dusty blush and pale rose.  Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Tatter to sides and ends. Interior threadbare and minor hole regions. Multiple areas of professionally reinforced foundation and raised warps and wefts across, mostly isolated to one end. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kerman carpet made in Persia circa 1920’s vintage. Size measures 9’7″ x 13’3″.
