:: Awesome antique Kerman Persian area rug with a unidirectional prayer type design and very mellow colors. Wonderful decorative piece that is very old dating back to the 1880’s! It is intricate in design and unique in its look — absolutely beautiful and versatile piece with its long life worn on its wool. The rug is in used vintage condition and does have areas of wear as well as painted areas to appear less worn. Another conditional note is the long mend of 6″ at one end as shown in the last photo. It is a rug that would be perfect for lower traffic areas in the home, and to preserve its longevity, you would want to have it re-overcast + cleaned at some point down the line. Perfect area rug size of 4’4″ x 5’10”.
