Oversized palmettes at either end of the main medallion and the corner spandrels in stepped checkered contour reciprocating that of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Beige, charcoal, oxidized silver, chocolate brown, pale olive green, silver, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures slightly more narrow than the other at 8’5″ as opposed to 8’9″, within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehrivan square carpet made in Persia circa 1950’s vintage. Size measures 8’9″ x 11’4″.
