:: Antique Persian Bijar. Wool pile and wool foundation. This carpet is quite old, perhaps dating to 1870 or older. Condition is quite distressed and tattered, although it is an exquisitely well made carpet, with tremendous character. The carpet has signature characteristics of a more refined weaving – from design execution, colors, warp material integration (part goat hair?). In this size, these carpets of such age become very difficult to find, and a find it is! Measures 3’8″ x 6’2″.
