4×6 Vintage Distressed Melas Rug

:: Oversized center medallion and halved splayed end medallions atop a covered field of primitive geometric floral design elements and pomegranates wrapped by a wide banded serrated leave germinating plant main border. Colors and shades include: Ivory, beige, slate, silver, oxidized silver, coffee bronze and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Melas rug made in Turkey circa 1950’s vintage. Size measures 3’11” x 5’9″.
