8×9.5 Antique Distressed Peking Carpet

:: Open field wrapped by a wide banded main border with vines and peacock like feathers. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, powder blue, sapphire blue, camel, beige, sand, platinum, and more. Condition notes: Areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Numerous areas of professional restoration, mainly found to the interior main field. Recess and etching to roll with minor discoloration from staples in either opposing corner. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Chinese Peking carpet made in China circa 1910’s vintage. Size measures 7’11” x 9’6″.
