8×11.5 Vintage Distressed Heriz Carpet

:: Oversized center medallion with large scale trefoil finials atop a covered field of floral cross-sections interconnected by geometric vines. Corner spandrel overlays in an arabesque scrolling vine loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Main border in a partial Herati and Turtle Samovar design motif. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, dusty olive green, pale powder blue, charcoal, oxidized silver, pale coffee brown, ivory, burgundy wine red, faded raspberry red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some post production markering. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1960’s vintage. Size measures 8’1″ x 11’7″.
