A truly intricate and detailed mapping / execution throughout, with suggested movement based on the lattice motif and alternating diagonal color fills. Colors and shades include: Dusty aubergine brown, terracotta, chestnut, navy blue, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads and/or foundation showing through. Unusual size and proportions showing mostly intact as original, although extensive re-piling and restoration professionally performed throughout the interior. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Beshir carpet made in the Amu Darya region circa 1890’s vintage.
