:: Roundel center medallion with partial scalloped contour in lace-like starburst design relief adorned at either end by lantern samovar design elements similar to those found in the twin Ardebil carpets from the Safavid era. Main border in a meandering vine and palmette design motif. Heavy abrashes and change of dye lots adding to dynamic character and charm! Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, sandalwood, dusty pale seafoam green, dusty powder blue, charcoal, oxidized silver, pale coffee brown, dusty magenta, copper, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Meshed carpet made in Persia circa 1950’s vintage. Size measures 8’6″ x 11’10”.
