Pictorial imagery scattered throughout the main border in playful and whimsical drawing. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, cobalt blue, beige, oxidized silver, sky blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Surface showing pale light blue speckled wefting, which is often trimmed prior to export, although are present in this rug, mainly in the border. One minor area of harder wear isolated to the center. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Chinese Peking carpet made in China circa 1920’s vintage. Size measures 6′ x 8’9″.
