:: This is a truly unique antique (vintage circa 1870’s-1880’s) Persian Bakshaish area rug. It is made up of all natural dyes in a hard-to-find stunning abundance of shades and range, as well as some shades of natural yarn. Colors are beautiful ranging from natural camel to blues, reds + seafoam green. It is not uncommon to see the camel shade stripe border entirely removed on both sides and ends however on this very old piece, the side remain. Condition notes: this antique rug does have some heavy wear and a rather dramatic end reduction on the one side. It is fully overcast on the ends, nice and secure + clean and all ready for use in your home! It measures in at an ideal area rug size of 4’4″ by 6′.
