4×6 Vintage Distressed Hamadan Rug

:: Hexagonal center medallion with unidirectional finned palmettes adorned at either end by long stemmed finials in arrowed contour atop an abrashed ground with botehs and blossoms. Colors and shades include: Dusty powder blue, dusty sky blue, denim blue, oxidized silver, faded aubergine, terracotta, copper, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One minor area of old painting found at the top center of the main border. One small area of darning found on the reverse side of the carpet, somewhat primitive in character. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug made in Persia circa 1960’s vintage. Size measures 4’3″ x 6′.
