:: Highly unusual allover covered field in serpent motif in lattice orientation. Simplistic rendering with implied, accelerated movement. Super fun and funky carpet with artistic merit throughout. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, sky blue, slate blue, powder blue, madder root red, cherry red, silver, beige, sand, saffron yellow, ivory and more. Condition notes: Isolated areas of wear – an excellent candidate for restoration, although fantastic in current condition and aesthetic. Tatter to sides and ends, localized areas of wear to foundation. One small hole to the interior as photographed. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1890’s vintage. Size measures 4’6″ x 7’10”.
