4.5×7 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Concentric center medallions with interior minor arabesques in floral palmettes atop a narrow main field with corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion and asymmetric color fill of silver versus cobalt blue. Colors and shades include: Ivory, oxidized silver, dark beige, cobalt blue, silver, sandalwood, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950’s vintage. Size measures 4’6″ x 6’9″.
