:: Hexagonal center medallion with stepped contour bearing arrowed finials with interior and field design motif in partial Herati rendering atop a heavily abrashed ground with a few scattered four legged animals hidden therein. Colors and shades include: Dusty teal, powder blue, burgundy wine red, ivory, beige, pale coffee brown, blush pink, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 4’6″ whereas the opposing measures 4’8″. This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Slight contour to shape with minor bowing, within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug made in Persia circa 1920’s vintage. Size measures 4’8″ x 7’4″.
