:: Allover repeating herati motif with great contrast between design and ground color (dark teal blue). The distressed aesthetic adds to the story of a truly old carpet. Relatively wide border proportionate to the inner field which enables the weaver to fully render the large serrated leaves and appropriate details therein while scrolling around the perimeter. Even heavy distress across, fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug runner circa 1915 vintage. Exact size measures 3′ x 6’8″.
