:: Although a fragment, there remains one faint row of knots indicating a rather small weaving in origin. Allover covered field in geometric starburst formations in un-patterned and staggered framing. Field replete with serpents in varying scale. Colors and shades include: Sky blue, pale mallard green, coffee brown, cherry red, brick red and more. Condition notes: Hard wear across with large areas of foundation showing through. Significant loss to one end, and hard loss to the other. A fragmented rug showing hard tatter to all four sides. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted antique Caucasian square rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1910’s vintage. Size measures 2’11” x 2’11”.
