:: Unusual size and proportions for the type and era, being a finely woven Mahal with a rather abbreviated allover repeating Herati motif, seemly isolated to a double column repeat. Oversized classic Northwest Persian Serbend border. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, cherry red, antique ivory, slate blue, powder blue, beige, sand, and coffee brown. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with large isolated regions of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal rug made in Persia circa 1920’s vintage. Size measures 3’5″ x 5’2″.
