Unusual size and scale. This carpet was likely part of the painted Sarouk and Lilihan variety, which was pigmented upon importation over eighty years ago to accentuate the gem like shades. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, dark navy blue, ivory, beige, celadon green, jade green, seafoam green, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Lilihan rug runner made in Persia circa 1930’s vintage. Size measures 2’6″ x 6’4″.
