:: A late first quarter of the 20th century Art Deco rug presents a pictorial landscape in a teal field framed by a wide burgundy border. The central scene shows a stylized pagoda and blossoming branch with colorful foliage set against abstracted hills and rock forms, with small bird motifs tucked into the border. The composition is lively and decorative, with a narrow gold guard separating the field from the border. Colors and shades include: Pomegranate red, teal, magenta, pink, yellow, orange, turquoise, purple, green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across.
