:: Single column floral palmette with dramatic expressive scrolled vines encompassing in a sub-medallion laurel. Wrapped by an intricate serpent stylized main border. Good example of period correct painted rug. Colors and shades include: Dusty raspberry, sky blue, indigo blue, powder blue, wine red, chestnut, copper, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Tinting to approximately two square feet of one end in a gold-like shade. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
