2.5×3 Antique Belouch Square Rug

:: Allover covered field in starburst gul motif wrapped by latched rams horn detailing. A few sporadic trees and shrubs found scattering about the field. Great tone on tone and contrast throughout. Colors and shades include: Chocolate brown, dark blush, navy blue, wine red, chestnut, ivory and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with isolated areas of wear and a small patch and threadbare areas to the interior. Tatter and loss to either end, although remnants of the original side cord selvage exist. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Belouch square rug made in Persia circa 1910’s vintage. Size measures 2’7″ x 2’11”.
