3×3.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Square Rug

:: Diminutive center medallion in diamond shaped contour and inner hook and latch reciprocating motif atop a covered field of unique, floral blossoms. Large corner spandrel overlays loosely contoured to the inverted shape of the main medallion, each bearing interior oversized floral guls, and blossoms. Colors and shades include: Pale raspberry, pale cochineal red, ivory, silver, pale mint green, deep seafoam, pale faded turquoise, ivory, blush, pistachio green and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak square rug made in Turkey circa 1950’s vintage. Size measures 3’2″ x 3’4″.
