Corner spandrel overlays in an unusual dragon mythological stylization. A Very finely woven example with super soft wool. Colors and shades include: Ivory, platinum, pomegranate red, sky blue, jade green, teal, mallard green, ruby red grapefruit, beige, sand, gold, apricot, sage green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Reduction to ends and sides resulting in loss of outer minor border. Scattered moderate restoration across main field in varying degrees of expertise. Reverse side shows wear from fold patterns.
