7×10 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with scalloped contour bearing blossoms stemming from each end. Corner spandrels loosely reciprocating the contour of the main field features. Fantastic abrashes throughout. Colors and shades include: Dusty beige, cobalt blue, dusty denim blue, antique ivory, sea foam, jade green, and more. Condition notes: Wear across to foundation and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some dark striations of oxidization/patina through the middle of the carpet. A couple areas close to the outer border edge with some raised edges which may or may not ease through use and wear, priced accordingly. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1950’s vintage. Size measures 7’2″ x 9’9″.
