:: Covered field of sprawling scrolled vines interconnected blossoms, palmettes, serrated leave and detailed buds. Colors and shades include: Slate blue, oxidized silver, burgundy purple, ivory, beige, jade green, beige, sand, ivory, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Both ends have 1″ of older adhesive likely due to machined fringes added at some point. To fully secure the ends recommended reduction to the carpet is 4″ to the total length by removing 2″ of material from both ends, for 1″ of fringe resulting in the carpet being 10’10” x 13’10”. Contact us for questions or details on these efforts. The carpet is slightly more narrow on one end, with the width measuring 10’5″ whereas the opposing measures 10’10” wide. This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet made in Persia circa 1930’s vintage. Size measures 10’10” x 14’2″.
