3×6 Vintage Heriz Rug Runner

:: Triple center medallion in diamond shaped contour with interior serrated leaves atop a covered field of diamond shaped floral fill blossoms and stepped corner spandrels with lovely abrashes in vivid blues. Gem tones throughout, especially those in the red and blue shades. Colors and shades include: Rich brick red, brilliant powder blue, sapphire blue, navy blue, ruby red grapefruit, blush, ivory, camel, beige , emerald green, jade green, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor localized areas of expert re-weave with light work to the selvage and shows slight variation from original to restoration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug runner made in Persia circa 1930’s vintage. Size measures 2’11” x 5’11”.
